Chapter 252 The Flying Dutchman! "Fair" deal!
"It's not so much for me, it's better for William." Jack replied calmly, "In this way he can get my help."
Tia Dalma nodded: "Now that sounds like Jack Sparrow. What can I do for you? You know I'm getting paid."
"I'm here with a reward, don't worry about that." Jack said tactfully.
After speaking, Jack took out the piece of cloth with the key drawn on it from his pocket and handed it to Will, who immediately showed it to Tia Dalma.
"We're looking for this and what it can open," Will said.
"Won't that compass you traded in from me help you find this?" Tia Dalma asked.
Will was about to say something, but Jack covered his mouth with a wry smile, and Barbossa next to him laughed loudly while watching the excitement.
"Actually, we've had some trouble," Jack said.
"You lost that compass?" Tia Dalma narrowed her eyes, then laughed loudly:
"Your key can open a treasure chest, and what's in the treasure chest is what you're looking for, right?"
"What's in it?" asked one of the pirates.
"Gold? Jewelry? Unclaimed valuables?" Pantel said hopefully.
"I hope it's not something bad," said Rajetti, still uneasy about what's around him.
Tia Dalma smiled at the pirates around her as if they were little children, and she began to tell her story.
Dalma had already guessed Jack's reason for coming this time. Jack wanted to use the power of a person he feared to fight against another person he feared.
As for whether to retrieve the compass, it seems that it is not his top priority.
Then Dalma smiled lightly: "You know Davy Jones, right? A man who belongs to the sea, a great sailor, who knows that he has encountered something that troubles all men."
Will asked her, "What is it that bothers all men?"
She smiled: "Yes, what exactly is it?"
"The sea." Barbossa said solemnly.
Tia Dalma shook her head, no.
"Treasure," said Pantel greedily.
The gypsy shook his head again.
"Good and evil are one," Rajetti suggested.Everyone in the room looked at the one-eyed pirate and shook their heads in disapproval.
Jack ended the game by saying, "A woman."
Tia Dalma smiled at the rude pirate, "A woman, he's in love, a woman as fickle, ruthless, and untamable as the sea."
"She loved her all the time, but the pain caused by this love made him want to die, but it was not enough to kill him."
The pirates knew this kind of thing all too well, and each nodded regretfully.
"What the hell did he put in the treasure chest?" Will asked.
Tia Dalma sighed.
"He decided that the morsel of fleeting joy that life brought was no longer worth lingering on, so he dug out his heart, locked it in a treasure chest, and hid the treasure chest from outsiders. And this He carried the key with him at every step."
Will nodded, he understood that this key opened the treasure chest with Jones' heart.
"It's such an oblique answer," Jack commented.
"We're all the same, Jack," Tia Dalma replied with a wink.
"You already know that," Will said.
He realizes that Jack knew more than he wanted to reveal when he negotiated the deal with him.
"No, I don't know, I don't know where the key is..." Jack stammered, interrupting Will's train of thought.
Will rolled his eyes.
"But now we know," said Jack tactfully, "so all that's left is to sneak up on Jones' Flying Dutchman, get the key, and then you can go back to Port Royal to save your beauty. "
Jack walked toward the door, and as he was about to open it, Tia Dalma said, "Let me see your hand."
Jack hesitated, he slowly opened his palm.
Tia Dalma nodded respectfully at the black blob that made Jack the one marked.
Barbossa leaned over and saw the black spot too.
The pirates watched as Tia Dalma walked across the room in her long tattered dress and climbed the stairs.
At the top of the stairs, she pushed open a huge carved door, from which the sound of the sea came softly.
Tia Dalma slowly closed the door and came down the stairs. She handed Jack a pot she was carrying and said to him:
"Davy Jones can't come in, he only goes ashore every ten years." She bent down and shoveled some dust into the pot.
"You are safe on land, Jack Sparrow, so take your land with you."
Jack looked into the jar and said unmoved, "This is a jar of dirt."
"Yes."
"Will this pot of soil be useful?" he asked skeptically.
"If you don't want it, give it back." Tia Dalma reached for the jar.
"No!" Jack yelled, clutching the jar tightly to his chest.
"Then it will work," she said, nodding.
Will looked at Tia Dalma and said, "Looks like we need to find the Flying Dutchman."
Tia Dalma smiled into his young face, and sat down at the table again, picking up the crab claws and throwing them down, casting spells for divination.
And these crab claws did not fulfill their mission, leading the crew on the road to find Davy Jones.
......
The Black Pearl sails to an archipelago in the Caribbean, the shape of which fits the outline of crab claws on Tia Dalma's table.
