Chapter 782 - 503: Spiritual Remains Knight Lord, Advancing to Bronze Upper!
A new race?
The notification filled Fang Zhou’s heart with an ineffable joy and pride. For months, he had tirelessly roamed and battled across the Wasteland of Strife, experiencing countless fights to finally achieve this tremendous enhancement.
His clone had now become a fusion of the Skeleton, Zombie, and Ghost Races, perfectly absorbing the strengths and advantages of all three types of undead.
I’ll name the new clone race the Spiritual Remains Knight Lord. "Spiritual Remains" represents its racial characteristics, while "Lord" symbolizes its extraordinary Command Ability.
Fang Zhou hoped the clone would continue to grow and one day evolve into a true Undead Monarch. After indulging in visions of a glorious future, Fang Zhou shook his head and pulled his thoughts back to reality.
Under the bloody moonlight, he began to observe his newly spiritualized body. This racial evolution had increased his height from four meters to five. When mounted on the Yellow Springs Nightmare, his total height surpassed seven meters, making him a veritable large-scale undead creature. While this brought Fang Zhou an immense frame and formidable strength, it would have normally also caused physical hindrances. However, after achieving Body Spiritualization, he felt his burly body was as light as a feather, experiencing no sense of drag even during a high-speed Charge. In a word, it was seamless.
The battlefield was now clear of hostile Undead Creatures, and it was clear that Olaf, Tidamia, Sain, and the others were no longer a match for him. Looking at the loyal Tidamia and Sain, Fang Zhou shook his head with a distinct lack of interest. Though they hadn’t officially crossed swords, he had a feeling his subordinates wouldn’t even be suitable as practice partners for him anymore.
It’s not that they are too weak, but my progress has been terrifyingly fast.
As long as the Blood Moon existed, Undead Creatures were ageless and undying. The price for this immortality was that their natural evolution was often measured in decades, or even centuries. Yet, in this stagnant Undead Realm, Fang Zhou had rapidly evolved from a newborn Lower-rank Skeleton Apprentice to his current state as an Upper-rank Bronze Spiritual Remains Knight Lord in less than two years. Such speed surpassed the comprehension of all Undead Creatures.
However, when he compared himself with his Corpse Knight Guard, Fang Zhou’s fighting spirit reignited. With the clone’s continuous evolution, it no longer belonged to any single type of undead. In other words, as his clone evolved, he was also creating a brand new Undead Race. And his guards were the very first members of this Undead Race with its infinite potential.
Since he had already deciphered the Death Spirit Body talent skill of the Ghost Race and evolved into a Spiritual Remains Knight Lord, it meant his Corpse Knight Guard could also evolve into Spiritual Remains Knights. Of course, the specific evolutionary path still required Fang Zhou to use the Authority of the Corpse he held—oh, no, it should be called the Authority of Spiritual Remains now—to deduce the process.
Besides the racial evolution, the clone’s four-dimensional attributes had finally reached the absolute peak of the Bronze Tier. Its Strength, Physique, Agility, and Spirit attributes had all reached the 1,000-point limit. This also meant Fang Zhou had officially begun the journey to break through the bottleneck and advance to become a Silver Tier Undead Creature.
Unlike the smooth, bottleneck-free breakthrough experience of his Undead Mage main body, each major Tier advancement for the Spiritual Remains clone was a significant trial. It required Fang Zhou to gain a more profound understanding of the undead authority he wielded in order to forge a suitable path for advancement from scratch.
The Ghost Lord that Fang Zhou had coveted for so long had now been completely devoured. He still had many tasks ahead of him. The most important, naturally, was to research and deduce how the clone could break the bottleneck and advance to the Silver Tier. Next, he needed to use himself as a template to try and modify the Tomb’s various undead Units. For example, his Corpse Knight Guard could be upgraded into a Spiritual Remains Knight Guard. The Unit Buildings in the Tomb could also begin producing Ghost-series Units.
Seated atop the Yellow Springs Nightmare, Fang Zhou gazed at the bone-littered battlefield, a heroic feeling surging through him. Once he had finished digesting all the gains from this venture, he believed that both his individual strength and the might of the Tomb’s entire undead force would see an earth-shattering improvement. That would be the perfect time to expand his sphere of influence and unify the Wasteland of Strife.
For now, however, he needed to address the situation with his main body.

Returning his consciousness to his Undead Mage main body in the Beastman Desert, Fang Zhou opened his eyes and rose from the Concentration Meditation Array.
Just as before, the clone reaching the 1,000-point limit for all Four-dimensional Attributes at the Bronze Tier resulted in an enormous feedback of attributes to the main body. Thanks to this huge influx of attribute points, the Spirit Attribute of Fang Zhou’s Undead Mage main body shot past 800 points. This meant he had smoothly advanced to Upper-rank Bronze.
「Nearly a thousand kilometers north of Beast Fighting City, in a dusky forest.」
Perceiving the powerful aura that erupted from Fang Zhou, Yan Yan, Jing Fei, and Lin Qingshan, who were sitting around a campfire, exchanged shocked glances.
"Lieutenant Fang Zhou has already broken through to Upper-rank Bronze?"
"Terrifying. The leveling speed of a military genius is truly terrifying."
